The reason a world-leading renewables company chose Gladstone for its new biorefinery
Oceania Biofuels proposes to construct a new $500 million biorefinery in the Yarwun Industrial Precinct in Gladstone. Expected to begin in 2025, the biorefinery will produce renewable diesel and sustainable aviation fuel. Queensland is taking advantage of the opportunity to secure more jobs in more industries and acknowledges the increase in global demand for cleaner fuels. Queensland aims to become an Asia-Pacific hub in biomanufacturing and biorefining.
