Infrastructure
Cross River Rail $7.8 Billion
A new 10.2km rail line is currently under construction beneath the Brisbane River and Brisbane CBD. This development will establish four new underground stations at Woolloongabba, Albert Street, Roma Street, and Boggo Road.
Logan and Gold Coast Faster Rail Service $5.75 Billion
The project aims to expand the number of tracks between Kuraby and Beenleigh, modernise the stations for improved accessibility, enhance facilities, and establish a new travel path connecting to stations.
Waterfront Brisbane $2.1 Billion
The project is set to rejuvenate Eagle Street Pier and Waterfront Place by implementing the construction of two new office towers, establishing a riverfront retail precinct, and expanding the riverwalk.
Brisbane Live $2 Billion
A new entertainment precinct set to transform the Brisbane CBD. The project is located at a key transit hub, with plans to be constructed above the Roma Street rail lines. The project includes a new indoor entertainment arena with a 17,000-seat capacity.
Brisbane Metro Depot $1.5 Billion
Construction of a new Brisbane Metro Depot, the 10-hectare facility will provide metro charging for electric metro vehicles. The facility aims to hold a 5-star Greenstar rating and will be the largest and most technologically advanced facility of its kind in Australia.
